We’re excited to announce that both Elementor and Bluehost have partnered with WordFest Live 2021 and will feature across the live event January 22, 2021.

In case you’re unfamiliar with either company, allow us to introduce you.

Elementor is the leading WordPress website builder platform, serving professional web creators – designers, marketers and developers. A new website is created every 10 seconds on Elementor’s intuitive and engaging open-source platform. Since its launch in 2016, more than 7,000,000 websites have been built using Elementor, with their passionate clientele in 180 countries awarding them over 5,000 five-star reviews on the WordPress Repository.

Bluehost is a leading web hosting solutions company. Since its founding in 2003, Bluehost has continually innovated new ways to deliver on their mission: to empower people to fully harness the web. Based in Orem, Utah, they provide comprehensive tools to millions of users throughout the world so anyone, novice or pro, can get on the web and thrive with their web hosting packages.

To learn even more about them we chatted with Mascha Sachs from Elementor and Breann McDede from Bluehost to find out what excited them about partnering with WordFest Live 2021. Here’s what they had to say:

We asked, why is reaching out to the remote working community important to your company?

Breann McDede of Bluehost replied:

Building an online presence has always been a bit of a ‘remote’ practice. There’s no storefront for the internet. Developers and designers often work together without ever meeting in person. Bluehost is dedicated to helping users build their online presence and we have developed tools to make it easier for us to work together, even remotely.

Elementor’s Mascha Sachs stated:

Our community of web creators is at the center of everything we do. Many have been working from home, well before the pandemic. COVID-19 has shown the world the necessity of endorsing remote work. We want to take part in the effort to make work from home more established, sustainable and interesting. We also want to acknowledge the huge contribution work from home web creators have made and continue to make during these especially challenging times.

She went on to share how Elementor as a company has adapted to the virtual event environment:

We’re web creators, as is our community, so we were able to adapt quickly. Shortly after the pandemic broke, we transferred our meetup events to a virtual environment, and ran a meetup road trip tour across the US. We also initiated a live webinar series focused on business success, that managed to draw a lot of attention and participation from our audience.

As a brand focused on empowering our community, it was important to us to continue the ongoing conversation with our users, as well as make sure they feel connected to us and to each other.

Next, we dove into what excites each company most about the virtual event space?

Mascha Sachs from Elementor explained:

We value face-to-face events and the unique experiences they offer. We are really looking forward to them making a comeback! Having said that, virtual events offer the ability to meet and connect with people from different geographic areas and lower financial participation barriers. This enables our audience to scale everything they get from events: accessibility, networking, education, business development and inspiration.

We look forward to meeting everyone at this awesome event – be sure to come stop by our table to say hi.

Bluehost’s Breann McDede mirrored some of those thoughts while adding:

As we all know, the WordPress community had to adapt to a virtual event space at a moment’s notice. Although it brought its struggles, it also brought an overwhelming amount of positives to people across the world. Bluehost is most excited about a virtual event space because it opens up communication, connection, and community to the world, without any limitations on where one might live. We are thrilled to be able to connect with people in this community across the globe.

Speaking of connecting, Breann McDede shared some of the ways Bluehost will be getting into the festival spirit at their booth, with Open Booth time wrapped around each of the listed events. Get the personal help you need with any questions you might have, and have fun doing it!

To keep the party rolling, Breann McDede gave us a sneak peek at what’s coming up from Bluehost:

Bluehost is working on an Express Editor that will make building and publishing with WordPress even more intuitive and easier. It’s still in development so we can’t say too much, but we’ve gotten really great feedback so far!
