The WordPress REST API is a way to interact with your website without loading a single page. It\u2019s fast, it\u2019s powerful, and if you use the block editor – you\u2019re already using it without even knowing. By using the REST API, you unlock a whole new world of possibilities for building and managing sites. We\u2019ll learn how to display data from the REST API on your site using both Javascript and PHP, how to authenticate using Application Passwords and how to update content on your site without having to log in to the admin, and we’ll look at some plugins that have their own REST APIs.<\/p>\n
