Learn More About Nexcess

We chatted with Gasper Rubino from Nexcess to find out what excited them about partnering with WordFest Live. First we asked, “Why is reaching out to the remote working community important to Nexcess?”

Gasper shared:

The WordPress community is made up of friends and family. We know the community from past conferences, work projects, or networking events. These are our kind people, the ones who see the world in a different light and we know they can solve any problem when we are all working together. We are here to support their efforts and find new ways to work together.

Next, we wondered if Nexcess had anything special planned for WordFest Live attendees, and Gasper mentioned:

Chris Lema will be in our booth at 5:00 pm UTC (1:00 pm EST) for a talk titled: “Asking for Help is a Superpower”.  Then at 10:00 pm UTC (6:00 pm EST), Carrie Wheeler will be in the booth to answer any questions about how Nexcess handled the pandemic, and how we were able to keep our culture of support while switching from in-person to fully remote teams over the past year.

Make sure to find Nexcess during the event and swing by the Games Tent to see what all they have planned!! Until then, follow them on social media and send them a “Thank you!” for sponsoring!

WordFest Live will feature speakers, partners, and attendees from across the globe.
